Our story
The beginning of forever.
We were neighbors for four years, but it feels like our lives had been intertwined long before we ever truly met. We have always joked that there was an invisible string pulling us together—like two ships passing in the night.
While I was living in Park City, Matt frequently traveled there for work and snowboard trips with friends. We discovered we had separate photos—me with my girlfriends and Matt with his guy friends—taken in the exact same corner of the exact same bar, just one weekend apart. There were near misses in the Bay Area too, and we even had the same soccer number growing up: #11.
When I brought Tank home, Matt and his two sons, Jaxson and Mack, were the very first people to meet him. At the time, I did not even know Matt’s name, yet somehow he was already becoming part of my story.
After four years of neighborly waves, we finally met at just the right time. Ironically, I learned Matt’s name when he stopped by to buy a desk I was selling from my driveway. What started as a simple transaction became a conversation, then a friendship that felt surprisingly natural—as if we had already known each other for years.
What began as a chance driveway conversation has grown into the life we are building together. We are grateful for the paths that kept bringing us closer, for the people who make every chapter better, and for the chance to celebrate this next one with all of you.
